Alison Retires

The Headway community shares a special place in the heart of Alison McLellan.

As one of the key personalities responsible for Headway to form and evolve over the past 40 years, Alison has been there at every step of the journey. It’s been quite a ride for Alison and her retirement farewells have been going for the last few months. Being a finalist in the Ryan Senior New Zealander of the year 2020 was a great honour, but the opportunity for her to share stories and time with the community at Headway House in April was a lovely evening for all, despite the rain.

Thank you Alison, for all you have done. Your care, support and desire to help others has been felt by so many in the past, present and will continue to serve many into the future. You are our special lady and the doors are always open for you to visit.
