The Auckland Marathon is fast approaching, and we're lacing up our running shoes to raise awareness about brain health.

Research shows that running enhances cognitive function— including memory, attention, and information processing. It is also linked to improved blood flow in the prefrontal cortex, and improved mood.

No matter your pace or ability, you're invited to join us, It's your chance to get out and enjoy our beautiful city, make memories, and help raise much-needed awareness.

Register at https://aucklandmarathon.co.nz/

and contact Margot to get your Headway Brain Injury transfer to display on your favourite running shirt.

Know someone running the Auckland Marathon? Encourage them to join us and run for Headway.

Let’s come together and shine a light on brain health!

Gift In Will

Consider leaving a legacy to support our work in the community.

Make a lasting impact by leaving a gift in your will to Headway Brain Injury Auckland. Your contribution, no matter the size, will support those affected by brain injury and help us continue our vital work.

Why Leave a Gift?
No matter the size, a gift in your will is a powerful way to make a lasting impact. Your legacy will help Headway Brain Injury Auckland continue its essential work for years to come.

How to Leave a Gift
Leaving a gift is straightforward. You can specify any amount in your will or through a codicil (an addition to your will). We recommend consulting your legal advisor when making or revising your will to ensure it accurately reflects your wishes.

The following wording is suggested for leaving a gift in your Will:

“I give to the Brain Injury Association (Auckland) Incorporated (insert % of estate, the residue of my estate, or a specific sum of money) for general purposes. The receipt of an authorised officer of the organisation shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my trustees.”

If you choose to leave a gift in your will, we would love to hear from you so we can express our gratitude.
