Headway House is open Monday to Friday for a range of activities. Everyone is welcome to drop in and join in any activity.

Art Group

Join in for a morning of facilitated art activities.

  • Meets : Every Monday 10 am to 12 noon (except public holidays e.g. Queen's Birthday Weekend)

Tai Chi for Wellbeing

Tai Chi for Wellbeing includes balance, meditation, and mindfulness in a calm environment. It may be done standing or sitting down, is relaxing and helps calm the mind, also social and fun. This form of Tai Chi was developed by Dr Paul Lam who initially developed 'Tai Chi for Arthritis and falls prevention’ and works well with any physical ability. 

Pauline will be there to meet you. Come to class wearing comfortable clothing (easy to move in) and bring a bottle of water.

Friday Social Group

Time to socialise with others with games, table tennis, occasional movie afternoon or quiz event.

  • Meets : Fridays 10.30am – 1pm, every Friday at Headway House

Garden Group

  An opportunity to work in the Headway Communty garden.

  • Meets : Thursdays 10.00am – 11.30am
