Volunteering
Presently we could benefit from assistance in the following areas:
- Are you able to organise a raffle? Have you ever been involved in a raffle project? Could you do some persuasive work on the phone or with letters to secure some prizes, then design some raffle tickets and plan a ticket selling action plan? Here is a challenge for you then!
- Perhaps you are able to teach yoga or pilates, we are looking to run some classes here at Headway House.
- Are you interested in sharing your art or art appreciation skills with our members?
- Similarly we would like to run a music group perhaps choir or singing group. Have you musical skills to share?
- Would you and perhaps some friends would like to organise our games for the Brain Injury Association picnic to be held 19 February 2017 at Long Bay regional park. About 100 to 140 possible participants all keen to have fun but some in need of encouragement. We will provide all the resources but need your time and enthusiasm. We need your magic!
So could any raffle making yogis and artistic musicians looking to help us at the beach please email Steve Jenkins, Manager, Headway: Brain Injury Auckland. (If you just have just one of these gifts we would like to hear from you too!)
